2008 Scheduled Events
We are currently scheduling our 2008 Season and we are pleased to announce our house band will be Lewis & Clark Bluegrass Expedition most Saturday nights all through the 2008 season.
And don't forget Hillbilly Al and the gang will be here too! Upcoming events: Every Friday from 6 till 8 pm it's Free Entertainment with Jeff Richards and we always have a Seafood Special. May 10th is our 1st annual "Back To Summer Party" for our under 18 crowd. Moms and Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas are invited too! But be warned....It's Rock n Roll Night! Saturday May 17th The Ministerial Alliance will be in the Amphitheatre from 3 till 8 pm. We will have more information on this event in the near future. Saturday May 24th we kick off the season with the Lewis and Clark Bluegrass Expedition. If weather permitting this will be an outdoor event in the amphitheatre. But the beauty of the Traveller is we can always move it to the indoor stage if the weather is bad plus, we don't have to stop the music for the trains to go by! My husband John and his great Smoked Pork, my Aunt Shirley and her special cooked cabbage, my best friend Gloria who is always there to help me with all my projects from painting to cooking! My son Justin, the concession guy and general assistant to whatever heavy project I have going on. My family along with old and new friends that came out to support the Traveller. Joey Cooper with Liberty Bank of Highland, Jeff Polston of First National Banking Company of Hardy and Fred Holzhauer of First Community Bank in Highland. Without their help it would have been impossible for us to give the place a face lift or have our "Private Affair Events".
